Canon AE-1

The Canon AE-1 uses FD lenses.

There are lots of great choices. However, keep in mind, the FD-mount was discontinued in 1987. All of the lenses available are 30-40 years old.

Do not load film in direct sunlight or bright light. Light can get past the seal and partially expose early frames.

Do not remove film in direct sunlight.

You should not have to use force to rewind or remove a roll of 35mm film.

The Canon AE-1 needs a 6-volt battery for the shutter to fire. It will not work without a battery.
