At the time of writing this, a new Polaroid Hi-Print printer with ink and 60 sheets of paper can be purchased new for $45.

That’s probably because it is being discontinued.

I don’t like that the cost per print is $0.85. They are expensive because the backs are sticky.

A 4x6 Canon Selphy print costs $0.30 and is noticeably better quality.

The Kodak C300R, which is also manufactured by Prinics, is a 3x3 dye sublimation printer. It’s prints cost $0.30 each, but do not have sticky backs.

The color gradients go from black to as bright as possible.

Yellow, cyan, magenta, red, green, blue, and then black & white. That covers both sets of primary colors.

The specs list the maximum resolution the printer is capable of is 300 DPI (dots per inch). However, when I used test images that were 600x900 pixels, the app suggested a minimum size of 640x1024, which is what I then used.

They’re the perfect test print as long as you date the back.

Prints age differently depending on where they are displayed or stored. Direct sunlight, heat, cold, and excess moisture are bad for prints.

Sticky backs are expensive per print

The sticky backs add more than $0.50 per print.

I consider that to be too expensive for the cost per print. I would rather have a 4x6 print from a Canon Selphy printer.
