The Nikon D7100 original price in 2013 was $1,199.95 for the body only with the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 VR kit lens.

The body is the same price as the Nikon D7000. The D7000 kit came with the Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR kit lens for $1,499.95, which was $200 less.

A Nikon D7200 body was the same price. However, bundled with the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, it was $100 more expensive at $1,699.95.

Those prices included a EN-EL15 battery and MH-25 charger.

An SD memory card for the Nikon D7100 was not included. A compatible one can be found for around $15.

How much is a Nikon D7100 worth?

Based on sold listings on eBay, a Nikon D7100 with the kit lens can be found for less than $300.

What is nice is how good of a value Nikon F-mount lenses currently are. There are great lenses for the Nikon D7100.

Adjusting the Nikon D7100 for inflation, $1,199.95 in February of 2013 is equivalent to $1,678.73 in September of 2025.

The $1,599.95 is equivalent to $2,238.33.

That’s close to the cost of a Nikon Z6II with 24-70mm f4S lens costs.
